New rules?
A man can have sex with his wife every four days:

So, how is that different?

If she is lucky…weeks!

Like frogs diving for safety of near-winter’s mud,
like calves suckle the insides of their mother’s
with butt and drag until her teats drag on the ground,
like scientists trying to find ways to implant embryos
on masculine visceral organs,
some things we want, we simply can not have
unless Creator deems it so:

Such ecstasy, this crawling in, drawing out,
this artificial grafting what one does not own
and calling it “Enchantment”.


Once upon a time… she asked for space
and then walked under his curse until the last days of her life

but she was free from the station of his cross,
no more trains pulling in and pulling out at will,
and documents, signed in blood at Justice’s altar
meant he could spill his over…but not hers.

He called it her curse.  She called it freedom.
He called it ecstasy.  She called it enchantment.

You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.
Some parts of things cannot be owned.  She made her bed elsewhere.
