The Light

There's a light at the end of the tunnel
I see it now
With you standing there
With your arms wide open
Waiting on me
I take a step and hesitate
So afraid you'll fade away into the light
That I'll reach for your hand and you wont be there
You were the strand of light I was missing in my life
And I look at you with all the love
A heart can hold
But old habits are hard to forget
and I dont mean to doubt you
But I'm scared
That you'll fade away in the sunlight
and leave me to the moon

I look down the tunnel
Towards where you stand
Your aura emanating light
Your hand is held out , a silent gesture
And I see the love shining through
And my fears fade to nothing
I walk towards you with my hand held out towards yours
You grab hold and never let go
