What Land We Own

We own a house on some land
Someone died for it do we understand
The land was there before we were born
The land will be there after we are gone

So we kill and die for a piece of ground
A little soil for which we are bound
So who owns what do we now see
Owner of our land we will never be.

    Thanks surreal
So much in life is an illusion.
We are all foolish in some way.
