I'm sorry I'm not her.
I'm sorry I can't be there,
When you should be here.
I know I left,
But I'll never stop,
Loving you with all my heart.
You and I had our times,
Both good and bad,
But we got through them all.
So here we stand,
I'm reaching for your hand,
But you're reaching for hers.
I guess, we are truely over,
When you are happy with her,
And I'm holding back tears,
That I can't let you see.
I'm sorry I'm not her,
And that I can't be anyone, but me!

This is a really heartfelt write. The sense of rejection is very strong, wonderfully portrayed.
Thanks for entering.
Good luck.
