Graffiti can be so great
Don't you think?
Anonymous promises of love
Shattered by a smudged digit
Another one lost from Fred
Who wants to take a drink?
Some star of hate in memorial
Makes you fidget
Others promise the end of time
Or one of the best times
Left unfinished by encroachment
Of some faceless authority
Brief episodes of the artistic
And less significant of the grotesque
Dropped here another can
Left here the stain of man
Let it alone faceless one
Roll on by to protect and serve
Let your life keep living
And time will keep you laughing
Graffiti can be so great
Don't you think?
Whether rolling on a cattle car
Or sleeping under a sink
Heavy critique encouraged. All comments welcome!

What an original poem! I can't help but wonder what caused you to write on this topic? I truly think it's very well constructed, and the word choicing really rings visual life to the poem.
