Ain't Feelin' In Place

I look at myself
In the mirror
I ponder over if
My face is to fear
Am I making myself pretty clear?

I don’t know where
I belong
Life at times
Seem meaningless
Sound the gong
I need to get
Out of my shell.

Haunting memories
Of unwanted love
Gettin’ picked on
Thinking of going to Heaven above
I have no idea what to do.

But I believe I can make things work
Even though I’ve lost many friends
‘Cause I was bein’ a jerk
I’m trying to feel in place
But alls I think of myself
Is as a disgrace.

To the United Nations
To the teachers at my school
People will always remember
Me as
That skinny ol’ fool.

Now this has to come
At an end
Remember me as a good
But troubled friend
I ain’t thinkin’ of dyin’
I need to stop tryin’.

To survive
To live
To be happy
And Forgive
And for what?
Rejection
Though I need to look at it
Another way.

I can’t think
I can’t eat
My heart throbs
With heat
For love
For justice
For everything to be
In place.

Good bye now
Good bye then
Good bye every day
Good bye.

This song is about a teen who doesn't see what he has in life to offer.

  • good job

Quite a song. But in my opinion I think this is an echo of what you're currently feeling, which is not unusual. These are feelings everybody has at some point. And they're totally natural. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed this.
