Parker the Park keeper --
A name familiar to many,
Etched into the barks of trees,
And felt by the resting flowers.
He smiles down with the sun,
Covered by the moon's clouds.
But his presence disappears
As much as his work shows.
A name familiar to many,
Etched into the barks of trees,
And felt by the resting flowers.
He smiles down with the sun,
Covered by the moon's clouds.
But his presence disappears
As much as his work shows.
Author notes
Number 20: Parker
I didn't feel like writing a love/sob story about a boy named Parker, nor did I want to make Parker a tangible character of a poem. So...I just used the meaning of the name to get this poem going: Park keeper. How special.
