© Undeserving ~b~

Not yet appreciating what God has given us, we continue to suckle at the bosom of our father; longing for what we already have, for what he already has promised.  We are always neglecting to never sin, hoping to enter the kingdom, the kingdom of milk and honey.  Lined with gold, a glorious and gracious grace; embracing us all, all of empty entities; we flock to hope, happy until our judgment.  Then blaming, blaming our father for the bleeding butchering of our battered souls, who to sanctify us now, we simply suffer, sighing in slashing sin.  We may pray, now too late, the time had passed, didn’t see it, too busy for our bountiful, bold, and beautiful Lord; later seeing a now silent sound, silence so deafly-defining, no sound, only to kill you.  Pray to our Lord, will he come again after the revelation, he warned us, we do not listen, who are we to deserve such an wonderful-wondrous God, we have wounded him, can we live with that?  Pestering pleading with open promises, impaling his heart, then hiding in fear; we are not worthy of his milk and honey, not of heaven, at least not yet, one day we will be ready....

awwww I love this! So true!!! Nice job! You should read my poem "Father's Song" its the only one I have up now, but i think its pretty good and you'd like it.

  • Ahh what a beautiful portray
of the prompt. Love how you
took it in a spiritual direction.
    Such truth to this poem,
    and honest beliefs, I very
    much agree, sometimes we are
not yet ready to make that
    adjustment and serve the Lord
    full heartedly, and steadfast.

Thanks for entering & best of luck
