Lies leave holes in lives,
The way Swiss cheese has its hollow parts;
Empty, void, full of questions.
Why misuse time
To manipulate,
Or just plain mutilate,
The truth
And possibly hurt someone
So deep?
If you ever really cared,
Why is it so hard to face the truth?
It seems as though the truth
Is too hard to handle...
Or maybe you can't confront the fact
That you are THAT ugly of a person.
Why not speak in all honesty,
And leave the other person satified
That they got the tuth from you,
And deal with your own
Insecurities later?
I guess Truth, for you,
Is harder to handle
Than Fiction.
