not really a poem, just a thought that floated through my mind this morning...maybe I'll develop it into something.

so many couples head over heels in love...
able to climb mountains cliffd
and glide thru oceans depth......
and then the alarm clock
resounds....
and delivers "tedious"
chores and differences
wearing us down.

A very profound thought to start with. Perhaps you should expound on those thoughts. I feel you have more to say on the subject. However, what you have already expressed, speaks volumes! Nicely done!

How odd it is that I can relate to two simple lines.
It seems that most of us have come across this small roadblock at one point in time; whether it is in a romantic relationship or a friendship of sorts.
You have intriguing thoughts, sir.

Hmmmm....
Hmmmm.... I like it and in fact have experienced this very circumstance in my own life. In my mind, overcoming the forces of time and coming back to the circumstances that once united you to a person (whatever the relationship) is what's important. I could give you a long-winded example, but I will save that for another day.
