Where is the nannies?

where is the nannies?
he got up from his spot.
his spot, a warm spot,
by my foot was his spot.

he slept a great sleep

by my foot, by my feet,

'til the time i got up

to get something to eat.

he jumped off the bed,

but oh where did he go?

to the chair or the table,

i simply don't know.

i felt that he might have

just wanted some time

to make a creatively

inspired rhyme.

so although i don't know

where the nannies has gone,

i know that he loves me

and won't be gone long.

and perhaps the next time

he might take me along
so that i can go too

where my nannies has gone.

    Superb

I find it to be a very fine write. Imagery; rhythm and rhyme are just fine. Thanks for sharing this one with us.

Very cute piece. Love the name, and the irony of it (who is whose "nanny." ) Nice fun write. Like the rhyming as well.

    Sweet

I love this little piece in has an iteresting twist for I truly have no clue whom this "nannies" realy is but his poetic muse could certainly endear even the most distant of minds even in these modern times.

I like it, I like it so!
