This is my trial by fire.
A guaranteed hung jury
with testimony unyielding
Of how all the years
Of overdramatized pain
Was self-inflicted pity.
Advise me to plead guilty
to ignorance in the third degree.
And I have not been framed
the way the others claim;
My sentence, my friends
is of just cause
to the agony I must have left upon your faces.
Eye witness accounts
to my tunnel vision
only leaves me suspect
to the misconduct apparent inside.
Should you deny my appeal
I am sentenced to begin anew
after six years of solitary confinement.
Convicted on all counts.
