She is Nothing on Earth

The tree of life is chopped down
Beaten into blue lined paper
Forced by Man into an unnatural purpose

Three apples it had once grown
Two of them green and red
Feed to the guiltless Sir

The third of thin flesh
Can be torn apart quickly
Yet she doesn't get off that easy

It's raped of her umbilical cord
leaving a hole in her head
and her insides bare

She's now driven into the water
The water of suffocation
Left to die in her past

Cherry red apple
Blood red girl
Vacuum packed in the ocean

She rots alone
She dissolves alone
She is nothing on earth

Author notes

Some explanations:

The tree is my mom. "Beaten" because my dad used to hit her.
The apples are me, my brother and sister.
Me and my sister are the red ones cause we were raped.
"It's raped of her umbilical cord" Means because of raped, I grew up to fast into knowing what everything was and having no innocence.

oh wow, this is heartwrenching, especially after reading your authors notes. the metaphor and imagery in this is beautifully written though. I'm so sorry this happened to you. this is very sad and emotional to read.
