I remember solitude

as a white semi circle
slightly to the left
on a deep canvas

and

during one long night
of mirroring the pin holes
far beyond my reach

I wished I could fit
through one

and sleep
on the other side.

It made me remember living in a tent on the beach in Canada. Excellant imagery.

    love the image this brings

  • A very nice write--well penned--flows smoothly. Durthers rarely come true, too bad.

Very beautiful.......the imagery is very well done! It sullen but in a soft, peaceful way. Short, but excellently constructed.

This seems to be a really peaceful poem. I can feel your mellowness flowing. It seems to me that You didn't have a care in the world. It reminds me of an innocent child. This is really good.

i dont know why, but this reminded me of my brother and i staying up at night and poking holes in paperplates in the shape of constellations so we could shine a torch through them and... nevermind... we were weird. haha.
but enjoyed thinking about it when i read this. i know that feeling.
