No words are ever meaningless,
when wrote within a poem,
Al-tho a Polka Dotted Post-it Note
would make a lawn gnome moan.
I watched a Macarena free for all,
where a werewolf did the dance,
The okapi and the penguin were
dressed in pleather pants.
I wet a dish towel, rolled it up
and snapped it at the scottie dog,
He yipped so loud and spun about
and squashed a Purple frog.
A hyena with an otter's tail,
how odd I thought aloud,
A leprechaun smoking mushrooms,
he's high and on a cloud.
The orangutan has his pom-poms
the cardinal has his cinnamon rolls.
The chocolate turtle wants her pinwheels,
to poke right up her nose.
Poinsettia's are bought with credit card's,
all around the world,
But I prefer wood shaving incense,
to toe sock's that's been twirled.
Tulip bulb's and dish soap,
have been upon my mind.
So, I'll use the dirty water,
to wash my big behind.
Typewriter's and paper clips
are out of style they say.
So I used a big red marker,
to write this poem today.
