What color is the racist pig that protects
you and your family, or your possessions?

Whoever thought of the term shoplifter,
must have been the one doing the lifting.
~
Most people today, don’t think of shoplifting
as a serious crime, like bank robbery is seen.
~
Stores have their doors open for customers,
not for people to simply help themselves.
~
Is it any less serious than the person that comes in
the door or window of your home, locked or not?
~
The one that takes your brand new flat screen
TV, or simply your favorite picture of the kids?
~
Since they are taking from a business, it is not
looked at as being the same type of crime.
~
Since the word includes lifting, some look at it
as a job, or even a lifelong career choice.
~
Racism is not the issue; a thief is a thief and they
are all the same color, that color is “Criminal”.

I agree with you sweetie. We all pay higher prices in the stores to cover all the shoplifting that takes place. They are criminals and should be caught and punished. I don't care what color their skin is. Great take on the prompt. Best wishes in the contest.
