Sixty memories, sixty years
and one wish for me
I’d go back sixty years from today
and it’d be true love I’d see.
I think I might just cry
or maybe even laugh,
because in the real world
most marriages just don’t last.
Sixty years of tears, troubles, and tumbles
Sixty years of patience, happiness, and kindness
Sixty years of everlasting young love
Sixty years you both have cared for all of us.
What do you think hope looks like?
I believe it sits before us,
two special people, one love,
two beings with one soul.
I hope you all treasure today
and learn from it too,
happiness doesn’t come from money,
it comes straight from,
“I do”
