For an Unwelcome-heart

Dealt with unfairly,
your blows have been quite unkind,
forgive me now sir,
for all the things I have done;
wish I'd known you hate kindness.

Wish I knew your soul,
that you wanted me to fall,
I'd have kept quiet.
But I admit once again,
I misunderstood your heart.

So thankful I am,
that God unties foolish vows
to set the heart straight.
No longer shall I bow low,
we are truly enemies.

Author notes

not all things are for advantage,
but all things can teach lessons.
