a lost emotion

What is it I see when I look into your eyes?

The stars could not shine as bright

The sun is far to dim and the moon is to pale


Perhaps another galaxy untouched by soiled hands

Or the love that is swelling with in

No man in this world could feel this way in any time or place


No fairer maiden hath any man held as the maiden who has deemed my arms fit to hold her


She beckons to my heart with every waking hour for in my dreams is where she consumes me


And I love you more then the morning dew that clings to the rose pedals in the first rays of light that begin the day

For you are my rose and I shall be the dew that clings to you and when your rays of light come I shall be yours forever


I vow this day upon this spot with blood crimson and thick

That forever is not nearly enough time to be with you
