Blue Sky Easter Morning

On this blue sky Easter morning
I'm thinking of you
Nothing to do
With the way you left
But the way you lived

Thank you for living
To teach me things
I ought to learn
To cope when the tables
Expectedly turn.

Two years on
I think of how
People consider me
"better" now

I'll never forget
As long as I live
But after this time
I think....
I forgive.

A FINE TRIBUTE INDEED - from a Wilbury so young!

The title and the first line of this heartfelt and soulful poem that was obviously written for someone that you cared about and loved a great deal hooked me like a pieces fish right from the get go. Simply written - in the same way that the songs of our heart and soul are sung to us - and in the same and spiritual way our favorite BEATLE sang about and lived his live - I found this peaceful at times - with a touch of sorrow - and filled with hope and forgiveness at the end. I said it once before - and I'll say it once again - This was a wonderful and beautiful tribute to your friend.
    Peace & Love!
    Earl.
