Yes,
I am proud.
A rainbow is diverse,
blistering reds fading eventually
into sun bright yellows,
luscious greens,
chilling blues,
warm indigos.
And I am proud.
For as a rainbow is beautiful,
so am I.
So is this thing I am making.
For even if it's different,
my version of this beautiful thing,
it's still
love.
And why be ashamed of that?

I was over 35 before I understood the significance of the being gay symbolism. You know, I find the need to label ourselves a certain whatever kind of cuts you off from the openmindedness-or willingness to examine otherwise. Not everyone though is as openminded as me-and I understand the need to associate with the rainbow theme.
Blah
