Treasure Box ~ A Precious Gem

What can I say .. I felt excited about being amongst my fellow poets .. but didn't really know what to expect but I have to say that it has so exceeded any expectations that I held at the time .. who stands out and who was there right at the beginning .. well, I know she is going to blush and probably remonstrate when I say this but it is none other than the dearest sweetest lady evermore, that is hosting this contest .. in my eyes and I know in the eyes of many others she is so deeply caring, her caring often brings me to tears and I wish that I could solve and make right all that upsets her, this includes all of the cruelties to animals that she so tirelessly cites and endeavors to do something about .. highlighting their devastating plight it upsets me that I can't .. as of all I would love to be able to wave a wand for her and all of those that she cites that suffer .. sharing many confidences .. her caring extends to each and everyone she touches .. an angel .. a goddess .. with such a strength, coming through so much of lifes hardness but still able to appreciate each and all the beauty that surrounds her, I am thankful for that as I feel that this special lady should be surrounded by lots of beauty always, so richly deserved ..  with a beautiful family ..  I have jumped in and seized this opportunity to be able to say this as I have long wanted to express .. my dearest sister of my heart

              and the journey ... from there I have  been priviledged to meet so many wonderful people on here .. this site is like a precious jewel .. a treasure box .. full of such unexpressable wonderfulness .. my family .. all .. I have been honoured to have Tawk as a sister too, dear Theresa such a lovely soul .. Elfin who makes me smile always .. Sisters Tenderwolf .. Davidisc .. Maralisa, wonderful graphics .. Melodies , Kelle Marie, Sunshine Princess very talented little lady and her lovely Mum, Dear Wolfie, Rose Angel, Hilly, dear Patty and her recipes, Pat, Sandy, Cindy, Pamela, Rew, Texas Mom you knw who you all are s  and brothers too Wayne .. and the return of David .. Ian ..  just loads really .. but although I may not always be around as much as I would like, my Dad (85) is not too good now and my energies get so low .. this site will always be a treasure to me .. and I dip into the many treasures that are the wonderful poets on here .. thankyou all for your treasured friendships and deep kindness .. and for sharing all of your hearts .. I love you all xxxxx s  Lib x x

    My dear Lib...Here I am months later reading why you joined AP...and haven't seen you for awhile...I am in the same boat as you right now too...only my Mom is 88...and yes, it does get quite time consuming.
    How you cheered me months ago on a Sunday morning with a greeting for my guestbook...and here you have noted me along with many other friends...This was so well written....and worthy of a trophy...I hope all is well with you, dear! *

    Oh sis such a lovely tribute to so many here on ap, I am humbled that you mentioned me with all these wonderful and amazing people I am honored. Karen is the best what can I say she is the sunshine in everyday for me and keep me and so many of us going each day. Sis I am so lucky to have you in my life you bring such joy to me and I love you so much. We are so lucky to be part of such a wonderful family where we can be ourselves and open our hearts and minds. Thanks sis for your heartfelt write and tribute, good luck in the contest and have a blessed weekend, love and hugs always your sis

    Oh, wow... *deep breath*

    You are right; I did blush and then I cried... you give me way too much credit here - but then, you always have my dear friend. You always have seen only the best in me; bringing out the good in everyone - as only you can.

    I had to take a while to gain my compusure before commenting on this. It was such a sweet, dear thing to do! And, most unexpected. I am glad that I have been able to touch a few people's lives in a positive way. God knows, that we all need it; in this miserable, yet - as you say- often exquisitely beautiful, wonderful and sometimes perplexing world.

    Everthing that you wrote about me; equally applies to yourself and more. After all, we are twin souls in so many ways. I see YOU as the better half though. lol's You; who are always so cheerful and caring nomatter what hardships you are enduring. It is you who goes out of your way tirelessly and endlessly to brighten everyone's day and to ease suffering in the world.

    I love you! Thank you for your entry dear one. I must try not to be biased in my judgement of this contest; God knows it will be hard not to be. This and so many others are beyond my expectations!
