The moon is shining in the midday
Unusually bright tonight, I find
And bless the stars, falling today
There are no others of their kind.
The lace curtains billow and sway
In the refreshing non-existent wind
Sweet music of your eyes, take me away
Music forgive me, for I have sinned.
The stars' souls are stolen from the sky
Held in the heavenly water, so sweet
Kept by and for the selfish until they die
Then water leaps up to heaven, again complete.
All of this I watch with weary eyes
It's been an age and more since then
When the starlit water became one with sky
The beginning and the end of men.
Lie me down to rest under the stars
For this is where I truly belong
Part of the earth's old and new scars
Here is where I end my song.
Author notes
Kind of abstract, let me know what you think of it. There is a sort of message there but I don't know if you'll be able to find it. 'Tis pretty weird

I liked it quite a bit. I am unsure of whether or not I caught the intended message but one was received. Good Luck
