Nothing Between

Nothing more than the flesh I wear
and nothing less than the words I say.
I am the face behind the mask of thoughts
and the nothing between.

I choose these emotions just as I choose my clothes,
and change them as I change my preferences
to suit my suiter's tastes.
I am the chameleon that colours to her disgraces
and belongs nowhere but in her head.

It exudes from my very pores,
the meaninglessness of my fake flaked skin:
I am no one and everyone
and the nothing between.

I am the tears of laughter when there is no joke,
the inertia of desicion
and the every flaw in perfection.

I am the nothing between.

I like the sense of caught in the middle and sort of paradoxical apsect of this poem. I think this is well written and your diction flows really well. Good job and good luck! ~Des
