A single feather floating past
Tickles my reddened cheeks
Settling finally; at last
Upon my gardened peaks
Clinging to the greening vines
Protruding from my beans
My finger traces its softened lines
As I wonder what it means
Out of nowhere it appeared
Capturing my line of sight
Forgetful of everything I'd feared
What a powerful, simple might
A simple gesture from God above
Reminding me of his love
