Spread blindness over my eyes
and silence me to deaf.
Steal away my friends with lies
and burn all that is left.
Crush my soul with pity;
my hopes, with inevitable decay.
Close my mouth with bruises
and never let me pray.
Burn me, cut me, whip me,

Make me less than human
until your anger's spent.
