Beauty of Nothing

Iridescent pool,
Shimmering transparent,
As if God had ran out of colours,
While painting its watery essence.

Sunshine pierces the trembling aqua,
'Til it's soul is seen through its flesh,
The incomplete artistry of the heaven's,
Exposing the puddle's inadequacy.

Rays of light stab through the body,
No mercy for the lifeless entity,
All flaws put on display
Performing in a sadistic freak show.

Created to be an alluring sight,
But the painter grew weary of this,
His work transformed to sacrifice,
Body a tribute to the invisible.

Scorned for no transgression of their own,
The sin-stained tears assembled together,
Anticipating unfinished glory,
Waiting for their turn to exist.

Stentorian glares from faceless observers,
Ringing through the liquid carcass,
Caustic provocation of arcane senses,
The fading cry of nothingness.

Lustrous lake looked on in awe,
Resplendent design of celestial virtuoso,
God-given blessing to all of the earth,
Injuries veiled by light's luminous glow.
