Chester Bunny's Easter Egg Hunt (1)

Chester Bunny was excited, it was time to hide Easter eggs
First Chester must dye them, pretty colors of blue and red
Chester dyed all of his eggs, they were looking pretty good
He hid them all over the farm, did everything that he should

He woke up on Easter morning, hopped right out of the door
The Easter hunt was over, Chester was angry and very sore
Every morning ole Red rooster,  crowed cock- a-doodle- do
Chester would wake right up, he'd say good morning to you

Red rooster was mad at Chester, Red's girlfriend was Suzy hen
After she had laid all her eggs, Chester took them from the pen
So Red didn't wake Chester, he thought, I'll get even with you
Chester missed the egg hunt, there was no cock-a-doodle- do

He began feeling really bad, for the wrong thing he had done
He knew he must apologize to Suzy hen in front of everyone
Chester Bunny said, " I am sorry", to Red rooster and Suzy too
They handed him a basket, full of Easter eggs dyed red and blue

The warm twist to this leave smile on the readers face. Rhyme move the write forward as the barnyard become an enticing place to seek wonderful prize lost as Chester slept in and his friends reminded him what the right thing to do is. Lovely ending as Chester gets his basket of Easter eggs. Fun read
