Abysmal deep is Death’s abode
And yet He found me
So charred and ruined all inside
And yet He claimed me
Ash and dust, no beauty here
And yet He touched me
A coiled strike, a screaming hiss
And yet He wooed me
A breathless cry, gasping plea
And yet He held me
Surrender from exhausting fight
And then He carried me
Holding His neck, warmed by His smile
And then He danced with me
