I am so so sorry to interrupt your busy schedule
"Its okay for some!" she says "Atleast you weren't late for your own funeral"
Oh of course its never me they were referring to when calling desperately down the Corridor
Its never me they are desperately seeking my council
How foolish of me to suggest such a thing
This shroud of shame that has covered me it has blinded my judgment
Of course how could I have been so foolish to think that I have any significance in this world
How foolish of me to think that my Phoenix would sing me a lament before bursting for the last time into golden flame
A final farewell
Who is mourning me at my grave?
I hear no weeping
Nobody raises there glasses and utters my name
In a toast to my memory
In ten years from now were my rotting corpse is still fresh and rigamortise has not fully taken its toll
No-one will hear tell of my common name
The lament of my Phoenix will not reverberate though the air
Who shall admire and look up to my spirit
Who shall I be remembered by
When my time is nigh?

Emily... has it not occured to you that I have 'seeked your council' many times??
Lovely write... but it's not based on truth. Because I assure you... this is not where your headed. You'd be living MY life it it was.
