I can't stand here, holding this door open any longer,
it's begining to break my bones.
He broke you in places
that humans never explored
& by the look of confrontation,
you don't want to discuss this more.
I can see his expression, glazed in your tears
and I'd save you from yourself, if you'd admit to the fear.
I'm begging your senses, to feel what I am.
No beggar, no scrounger, no cheater am I,
for I am merely a man.
Man is not evil, man is with fault
& I'm sorry you can't see the silver lining anymore.
----
He makes us look demons, when in heart
all we are, are the same as you - just plus eons of pride.
All I want to see is you smile one more time,
listen to the sound of my words and given in
just give this man a chance.

Guys Like You Make Us Look Bad - Bless The Fall inspired.
This was hard to write in a 'men are good' fashion, but I challenged myself and wallah.
