Tolerating Water Stains

Water stains and season greetings say bye.
Truth be told, those stains just blot my paper.
They blot my paper like a venom lie.
The truth will arise like a fog vapor.

Do you ever wonder why you are here?
Bloody, broken, snapped; no way to be fixed
Making friends with arrogant, sneering peers;
Asphyxiated by the greatest fix.

Why can’t we tolerate this anymore?
Water stains and season greetings say bye.
Because the truth has been broken by lore,
We don’t want to tolerate this and cry

Because the frustration is just too much
And we are not anyone’s broken crutch.

    Wonderful, darling. Fave line was definitely "And we are not anyone’s broken crutch". What a strong line to end with- I loved it. Three clappers for you!!!

    Did you by any chance get inspired by my beautiful sonnets and decide to make one of your own?
    In any case, beautiful poem that proves how much the situation annoys many. Great work.

  • Love it.
