River of life

Fragments of memories float swiftly by,

soaked with the waters of regret.

New hope washes to the shore line,

drenching the hope of a new day on tomorrow.

Oh my my! I really liked this one more than anything, i like how you used a river as you're metaphor. and hope does get lost but sometimes it seems to find it's way back. Great penning sis Ciara

  • wow. um.. that was amazing! your words just wove themselves together, it was seamless, and so beautiful. I really liked this, poems that are short yet very profound always amaze me, such a great write of hope.

I really do love short powerful writes, which you seem to have a natural talent for. Beautiful use of imagery in this poem. I love how you leave the reader full of hope for the 'new day' of tomorrow.

It is always trajic when all hope is lost. There is a lot of emotion in this short poem. Very nicely done.
