I’m on the outside looking in,
Wondering how I ended up here,
Why I’m out in the cold,
It’s not how it used to be,
I’m trying to find my way back in,
Inside the house,
The doors are locked,
And the curtains are shut,
Light shining through the draping curtains,
Allowing happy silhouette’s to cast through,
I’ve lost the key,
I can’t gat back in,
The sun is now setting
And I’m still alone outside,
Wondering how I got here,
Remembering how it used to be,
That was the summer of my life
And now its winter,
I can find my way in,
I’ve lost the key.
