Flowers of Ivory, wrapped in thick ribbon colored in metallic silver
Lie still on the bed, petal’s ruffled, upon a daisy printed pink pillow
The bride takes her time adjusting her hair, doing all nessary touch-ups
Securing all stray strands, flowers in tight bun, using a bit of gel
She admires her face, ruby painted lips part to smile, flawless appearence
face aglow in the mirror's reflection, she sees within her glittering eyes
Antique shadows dancing hand in hand , past, present, the soon to be
the same glow all brides wear, always hoping for the best, is this the one
she looks accross the room, slips on her silk textured shoes, reaches over
for her small acustic guitar laying silently against the bright white wall
takes it in hand and sit's down, carefully not to bunch up her long dress
she let's her pink painted nails strum gently on the heavy string, then to
the lower ones, changing the timing and rythem so that her song carries
reminds her of a lullaby, those sweet tones that lift from the inner most
part of the instrument before her held close to her heart, tears roll down
her freashly brushed cheeks, she doesn't even notice them, she's just so
happy
there's a knock on the door
"honey you ready?"
her mother comes bursting in the doors to see her daughter's tears roll
"Oh daughter what's wrong?" Her mother outstretches her bright purple clad
arm's about her daughter and pulls her close, wiping away the stray tears
"mother what if it doesn't work out?"

thanks hopefully it will be an ok write n her eyes. I really need to look up on how to do better poetry lol. I always start good but end kinda lopsided
