Montage of A Teenage Mind

Too loud to talk
Too quiet to get along
But why fuss with looks
Why worry about your image
Controlling, needy, whiny
Laughing, smiling, hugging
Who doesn't act like that
Who holds a constant personality

Deteremined and confused
Trying to grow up
But I only want to have fun
Boyfriends and buddies
Late night conversations
Skipping through the halls of my hell
But it's a paradise of social encounters
Sleepovers, going out, teen angst
Too young to know true love

Broken hearted, tear stained
Photos of smiles fill my memory
Much too low self esteem
Far too many compliments
Kissing and sneaking out
Teenage hopes and dreams
Pretty fanatasies
Dark days and hidden scars

Masquarade masks and music
Trying to figure out who I am
Where I want to be
Tripping over obstacles
Stumbling over air
Taming mindly beasts
Conquering amatuer goals
Lies and betrayal

Backstabbed by friends
But always growing stronger
Lessons tradgically lived
Lessons forever learned
Being young and being silly
Hiding little secrets
Discovering what will come next
Just trying to live life as it comes

This is very well done. I love your diction. You're talent is impecable however I thought it was a little too critical for my taste but I really did enjoy it. Good job and good luck! ~Des
