I hope you will.

When I'm dead and gone,
When there isn't even the breeze to remember me,
I hope you will.

When I'm old and no longer pretty,
When not even I remember my name,
I hope you will.

When everything is going down hill,
When I don't want to remember anything,
I hope you will.

When my life is at it's end,
My soul don't want me,
I hope you will.

When I call your name,
Ask you to marry me,
I hope you will.

  • Aww this was so deeply
    emotional and heartfelt.
    But, it was beautifully
    expressed

Best of luck & thanks for entering

  • Thank you for your fine entry.

  • sadly i am going to have to DQ due to the comment before mine (rules state no comments on the piece)

  • so heartfelt and cute :] though the line
"My soul don't want me," properly would be
my soul does not want me.
but either way i loved this piece
    thanks for entering

I liked this. It had a sweet vulnerability about this that made it quite endearing :-)
