i only wish i could hear your voice again

the words repeat over and over in my mind,
wishing only once more to tell you
tears burn like fire in my eyes
pain wells within
anger takes over
like magic this phone grows wings
i cant tell you i didn't leave
i cant tell you it will be okay
stuck here
my thoughts reel
the songs play over and over
as tears roll down my cheeks
so scared to hang up
the phone burned hot
finally parting ways
int he dead of night
never knowing , for now this would be it
for now my mouth grows mute
the tears finally take over
and these songs speak the words my lips wont form
my only wish
to hear you again for you to know this isn't goodbye

ill give up all i have just to breathe
the same air as you till the day that i die"}

Amazing emotion. The flow is a little choppy, but the emotional aspect helps carry it along. Something everyone can relate to, I think.
