Aftermath

The Lone Willow,
Its leaves drooping,
As though it mourns.

Forgotten Times,
A somber silence,
Falls on this town.

A symphony of Hope,
As the last dew drop settles,
And all is forgiven.

  • The willow tree is such a beautiful, sad tree. I don't have any willow trees near my house but I want one in my yard when I grow up. I think it would be a perfect place to sit and write poetry.

    Good job friend.

    Wow

It's like the calm after the storm...when everthing is recovering and the sun is coming out. Just as a rainbow shows hope for a beautiful day after such storms. Love and acceptance show hope in the same way with arguments between lovers.

    very well done, my love,
