The Devil
I was walking through the park, at night
with an anger i could not gauge,
then, all of a sudden, i jumped,
something had stirred in the boscage.
an atrabillious lover had got me riled
i was too angered to panic
as from the boscage came
something black, dark and chthonic
My anger did but ebb away,
I stood there so compelled
the devils wicked charms on me
had got me ensorcelled
i had walked into his Quincunx
my soul stood by his side
i rotted deep inside myself
to my eyes' silent stillicide.

Some good words in there! Boscage, stillicide, and atrabillious are both new and excellently useful. Thanks much!

I like to see one step aside from the prescribed proforma and let one's non-political vocab show through.
