What have we done?
We've created this hell on our own,
Trying to rule the world,
With a dance

Curve you lips to the song,
But your voice is all wrong.
The battle was ours,
The war was won.
All left was the crying of the young.
We hide from the innocent,
As they burn us up.
They are too much.
But we are fighters,
And liars and
Our experiences are done.
We know what to do with our hearts.
As we tie them up in ribbons of wrong,
Put them in a box at the bottom of
The whole damned ocean
And the waves sing on,
The phoenix fails,
Relying on the wind whales.
And fantasy envelopes us all.

It's about the fact that every time you think you've won your losing all over again and you can feel everything crawling in your heart. And you know you've been beaten again as the bruises show up on your skin. Doesn't matter what it's been everyone is on there on their knees again....and again...and again...we all lose.
