When I saw you
walking down the hall
on the first day of school
tall
brown haired
and smart
I knew
at that instant
that you would be mine
we could be together forever
if we wanted to
I dreamed of you
every night
and thought about
all of the fun we could have together
but how
we I going to get you
so you could be mine
day after day
all I could do
was stare at you
what else could I do
then there was that day
when I said
enough is enough
I will say something to him
on that day
I walked up to him
in a nervous voice
I choked out
"hi"
and ran away
then
much to my surprise
I heard the sound of footsteps
and heavy breathing
coming from behind me
it was him
my love
"hey, where are you going"
at that moment
we were together
together forever
and to this day
I never told you the true story
of how I felt
and
how much I really loved you
