Faithfully Forgotten

Slowly my eyes shut

cool serenity falls on my breath,

darkness takes the place of light

and I dream of my certain death.

Too much I have left unsaid

leaving questions in my grave,

holy abyss has taken my soul

two brothers sit and wave.

White walls now encase my mind

flickering closer to the end,

the music plays inside my head

my beautiful immortal friend.

Shadows tell my last goodbyes

of deadly sins I see,

no one hears my broken cries

as the reaper sets me free.
