Torn Between Two

When asked the question
on what should you do
when caught in the middle
and you're torn between two.

I feel your sadness
and I share your pain
but when caught in the middle
it just seems insane!

Torn between lovers
the old and the new
it's hard to be happy
most times you are blue.
Trying to make choices
on which way to turn,
one loving relation
will soon "CRASH and BURN"!

One brings you roses
and makes you smile
you've been together
for now quite a while.
Then out of your past
the other one pops
you knew that you shouldn't
but you just couldn't stop!

What are your choices?
For a heart you shall break,
when you decide
on which one you'll take.
The one from your childhood,
where you feel you missed out.
Now your  mind's filled with questions
and many doubts.

Did this relation
just end to soon?
Remembering nights shared
under
the beautiful moon,
how the stars shinned
when he'd held your hand.
But then he had caused you
such heartache
and pain!

Now back to the question
on which one to take.
It's only a decision
that you can make.
