Missing image
She waits for him
on this starry night
longing to be by his side
this lady in red.

She knows full well
he is not coming
has been too long
since last they touched.

He left his castle
and his bride
on a quest
to find his past.

She stands alone
each night by the window
looking out over the land
weeping for his return.

    This was awesome. I love poems about knights/ladies. It reminds me of my gf and I because it's been one month since I saw her last, but I'm gonna see her in 3 days! I call her My Lady and she calls me her Knight haha. Anyway, back to this poem... romantic, sad, hopeful... all the things I'm feeling right now anyway. You just made it even more apparent. GREAT poem!

    right now this is what i feel so i understand what ur saying with this. i love it. great piece and i really trully understand it from experience for i am waiting for my boyfriend's return. it hasn't been long since i seen him but yet i still miss him here today. whoa is me....lol. wow u can tell i'm in love. hehe

    For some reason i think of King Author leaving his bride to seek out the Holy grail.. heh.. But in a more dark, creepy way.. That's a beautiful picture, and a very moving poem! Do keep up the great work.

    Most Most Saddened!

    Where do you get these amazing pics? is this a lady morgana as well?! I love em! and this was a very sad piece! I like it better when your darker! cause then i got all bothered by it, here I just get all sad! It's still a beautiful poem though, there's alot of emotion! Has your man left you for real in search of something, or are you just writing something from within? In any case here's a to get you through it!
