Falling down on my knees,
Hands raised towards Heaven,
and tears streaming down my face.
I begin to pray.
Lord, I know we haven't spoken in so long.
But I am asking for you tonight.
I should have done this long ago,
but you know me. I am stubborn!
I can't walk without your guidance.
I can't stand on my own.
You are strong and I am weak.
Lord, please lead me in the way I should go.
Hear my heart's fervent humble plea.
I am guilty in your eyes, please do not forsake me.
I have wondered far away.
I can no longer hear you,
nor hear Your voice's gentle sway.
My peace has fled.
I can't go on living this way!
So if there is a chance you
would come again to me.
I'd really appreciate it.
I am not deserving of you,
but I have waited too long to
come before your throne
as your child and beg for mercy.
I am going to bed now,
just hoping that you heard
and will come to me.
I love you Father!
Please restore the peace that
I once knew.
Please come back to me!

I absolutely love it! & I'm using it, as you know.
I love the emotions, their rawness, their intensity. It's also good to know you feel this way. I worry about you more than I'll ever let on, you know. I wonder how far you'll slip from Him. This showed me you'll never be out of His reach.
