a kitten and, I, a god of some star,
jigged to like a tulip’s lit moon’s curve
her whiskered tawny sheen reflected my dark, my oval eyes
kitten bobbed upon an orchedial stem’s curl
the way a paled snailed hand tremulous as solo tongues
draw milk diamondic along the nipples of a magic flute
and I saw a yellow thing deep in shadows, huge, of texture forest black
squeeze slowly to slits eyes a nether world gray
from which a tear jangled in air,
splashed a starlit wood spirit’s
scurry into the light
twirling flight
kitten grinned, whispered to thing’s bowed down back
‘why are you not here to remain?’
it moaned and slunk away
‘And, so you?’ the kitten, glossily thrummed.
‘Why are you not here to remain?’
my pale flesh goes myriad, svelted in creams, wines
inside these songs, as mere stars glimmer to the beat
beamed from golden, hazel eyes ....
my lover’s hips wake me
take me
like a single malt scotch
and my spirits roll
a beast once, I
