I can feel the emotion through it, which is a real achievement for such a short piece. I like what you've done, and the work packs a punch. The form you've chosen is really good for this piece and I think this piece really works, well done.

what a picture you penned here in a short piece that shows sorrow, loss & grief! You can really bring the reader right into a piece with you. This is stark & full of imagery.
