He had dedicated himself to her,
until his dying day had come.
Looking into her thoughts, he knew;
it was not important where he was from.
His passion and the courage he carried,
was what allowed him to be truthful.
Never did a moment slip by,
she weren't reminded she was beautiful.
He took pride in her many talents,
and in her strides in life alike.
Her presence made him glow inside,
in his heart, she were his wife.
His kisses comforted her every tear,
he fell to blame when it was his time.
He new better when to ignore the fact,
she were putting off as if she were fine.
A treasured heart captured one more soul;
two spirits had connected, and there lives have become whole.
As he made a comment just for her to giggle,
he knew he owed it to his past.
Wrapping her warm with his embrace,
he prayed silently this love would last.

I recently wrote a poem called You Love Me In My Dreams, about the man of my dreams and how I know he exists somewhere. Well this should be #2 because it describes exactly how I would want that dream man to think, and feel about me. ( : Hope you enjoy it!

Oh. This is such a nice little poem that you have penned in here. I read your author notes and yeah I thought that sounds like a really great guy. I think a lot of us women wish we could find a guy like that. And they're out there so we just need to keep looking. I really liked the part about him saying something just to make her giggle. I love a guy with a great sense of humor. You did a good job of expressing yourself here.

P.S. Man I wish I had someone to make me feel this way as well...all woman should be made to feel like queens for we have so much to endure through our life. I'd like to see a man give birth and not complain about the pain...especially when I have heard men say...the pain is mind over matter...yea what the eff ever!
