"Come to me"

she whispered silently

no sound broke through those translucent lips

but I heard her

she reached forward and took my hand

the heat washed over me

and I became aware that we were alone

her lips pursued mine

and I let our lips touch

"Open your eyes"

I will never forget the life I saw

I shall never forget the beauty I saw

in the eyes of an angel
